Opening up a wall
Removing the wall between the kitchen and living room is the most common request we get. Whether it is load bearing determines the cost. A bearing wall needs a properly sized beam, posts carrying down to adequate support, and often footing work below. This is not a demo-day decision; it gets engineered first.
Behind the cabinets
- Circuit count and placement for countertop receptacles, appliances and lighting
- GFCI and arc-fault protection where required
- Plumbing relocation for sinks and islands
- Range hood ducted to the outside rather than recirculating
- Floor leveling before cabinets are set
Sequencing and lead times
Cabinets and countertops drive the schedule. Counters cannot be templated until the cabinets are set, and appliance panel details have to be settled before the cabinet order goes in. We lay the sequence out at the start so you know when decisions are actually due.

- Do you supply cabinets or should I?
- Either works. We coordinate with your supplier or bring one in.
- How long is a kitchen remodel?
- Typically several weeks of active work plus lead time on cabinets and counters. We build the calendar backward from the cabinet delivery.
- Can you remove a load bearing wall?
- Yes, with a properly sized and supported beam and the required inspections.
