Roofing, exteriors, restoration & construction across Southwest Missouri

Taney County
ARCC handles roofing, siding, gutters, restoration and construction for property owners in Branson, south of Springfield in Taney County near Table Rock Lake. Call (417) 300-9083 or request a free project/estimate inspection for potential roofing work.
Branson is a different roofing market than the rest of the region because of the building mix. Alongside conventional housing there is a large inventory of lodging, entertainment venues, restaurants and vacation property, and much of it has to stay in operation while work happens.
Terrain matters here too. Hillside lots, steep pitches, walkout lower levels and multi-level roof lines are common, and they affect both access and cost.
Residential work ranges from conventional single-family homes to cabins, condos and vacation rentals. Hillside construction produces roofs with multiple levels and steep sections that require additional safety staging. Properties with heavy tree cover accumulate debris in valleys, which is one of the more common reasons we get called out for a leak that turns out not to be a shingle problem at all.
Steep pitch and multi-level roofs mean more valleys, more flashing and more places for water to concentrate. Wind coming off the lake and across the ridges works on ridge caps and exposed edges. On rental property that is not occupied year-round, small leaks can run for months before anyone notices, so we recommend periodic inspection on any property that sits vacant part of the year.
For Branson commercial property we handle low-slope membrane, metal and restoration coating systems, phased so the building can stay in use. Most commercial leaks start at curb and penetration flashing or at a drainage problem rather than in the field of the membrane, and testing comes before any tear-off recommendation.
Single-family shingle roofing in Branson means full tear-off replacements, decking repair where we find soft sheathing, new flashing and pipe boots rather than reused metal, and attic ventilation corrected while the roof is open. We install Owens Corning architectural shingles most often, along with other manufacturers when that fits the project better.
Not every Branson roof needs replacing. We trace leaks from the attic side where access allows, then take the path back to the exterior rather than replacing parts and hoping. Pipe boots, step flashing, chimney counter flashing and valley detail account for the majority of what we fix.
A Branson replacement is a full tear-off to the deck, not a layover. Damaged sheathing gets replaced at a price we state up front, ice and water barrier goes at eaves, valleys and penetrations, synthetic underlayment covers the field, and flashing and boots are new. You get a written scope with the materials named so you can compare bids fairly.
After a storm crosses Branson, we offer a free project/estimate inspection for prospective roofing work, with photo documentation you keep whether or not you file a claim. A separate professional NRCIA inspection report is a paid engagement. Hail bruising may not be visible from the driveway; we also document observable conditions at gutters, vent caps and other soft metals.
Standing seam and exposed fastener metal on homes, shops and outbuildings around Branson. On existing metal, replacing backed-out fasteners, sealing seams and coating the panels is usually a better value than a tear-off when the panels are still sound.
Lodging and entertainment properties need work sequenced around occupancy and the tourist season. A roof over an operating hotel or theater has different constraints than an empty building: noise windows, guest access, staging locations and tight completion dates. We plan the phasing before the first tear-off, not during.
Branson has a large share of second homes, cabins and short-term rentals that sit empty in January. A supply line failure in an empty unit can run for days, which is why winter losses here often involve multiple floors and full interior reconstruction rather than a single wet wall.
ARCC works the building side of a water loss: assessing damaged components, documenting them, and handling repair and reconstruction while coordinating appropriate trades and mitigation as needed. Licensed plumbing repair is a plumber's work, and we will say so when that call comes first. See water damage repair and reconstruction or frozen and burst pipe damage.
We start on the ground, looking at gutter lines, downspout discharge, siding, soffit and fascia. Then we get on the roof where it is safe, or fly it when the pitch or condition makes walking a bad idea. You get photographs by slope and a plain explanation of whether you are looking at a repair, a partial, or a full replacement. If the roof has years of life left, we will say so and tell you what to watch.
When a replacement is the right answer, the written scope names the materials, states the per-sheet price for decking replacement, and covers flashing, boots, ventilation and cleanup. That makes it possible to compare our bid against another one line by line instead of comparing two bottom-line numbers that may not include the same work.
In Branson, a second opinion may be needed before a purchase, after conflicting roof assessments, or when a claim raises a technical question about damage. Jeff Maez offers separate paid independent roof inspection and reporting engagements with documented observations and photographs. A forensic roof inspection can be tailored to a specific issue such as workmanship, installation details or cause of loss. The report is not a replacement sales estimate, and no coverage outcome is promised.
ARCC is run by Jeff and Jessica Maez, a husband-and-wife team who built the company around taking fewer jobs and finishing them properly. We are BBB Accredited and listed as an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor. We are based in Springfield rather than following storms in from out of state, which matters if you ever need us to come back.

They were straightforward about what our roof actually needed and did not try to sell us anything extra. The crew showed up when they said they would and cleaned up the yard before they left.
Great communication from the first walk-through to the final inspection. Everything was explained in plain language.
Honest people doing honest work. They handled the paperwork side of the claim without making it our problem.
