The credential and the work

NRCIA is the National Roof Certification and Inspection Association. Its official site describes roof inspection and certification programs; its roof inspection page explains inspection categories including Forensic ROOF®. Jeff's designation is NRCIA Forensic Roof Inspector. This is an individual credential, not a claim that ARCC is an NRCIA-certified company or that every ARCC estimate is an NRCIA report.

What it means for a client

A professional inspection begins by agreeing on the question, the scope of accessible areas and any relevant records. Findings and photographs are documented in a report; where evidence is incomplete, limitations are explained. A client can commission this as a paid engagement separate from a free ARCC project/estimate inspection. A report does not automatically recommend replacement.

Whose opinion is the report?

NRCIA's terms make clear that reports and opinions represent the independent judgment and professional responsibility of the member issuing them. NRCIA branding or a member designation does not mean NRCIA itself inspected a property, issued or approved Jeff's report, or guarantees its findings. The inspector is responsible for the professional opinion provided.
